Terms of Service

Terms of service for playing Verdictris.

Verdictris is a noir social-deduction game published by MindSurge Enterprise. These terms cover who may play, what you agree to when you create an account, the conduct expected in chat and trials, and the limits of what the game promises. This page is intentionally ad-free so the rules stay clear and easy to find.

Effective date: August 17, 2026

Accepting these terms

By loading Verdictris at verdictris.io/play or reading the guides on this site, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you do not agree with them, do not use the game.

MindSurge Enterprise may update these terms as the game changes. The effective date above always reflects the current revision, and material changes are reflected on this page rather than announced individually.

Who may play

Verdictris is intended for teens and adults. The game contains social deception, crime themes, simulated trials, and non-graphic violence. It is not directed to children under 13, and accounts should not be created by them.

You are responsible for meeting any age requirement that applies where you live before creating an account.

Accounts

Verdictris can be played without an account. Signing in is optional and exists to sync progress, profile data, and leaderboard standing across devices; sign-in is handled through Supabase as described in the privacy policy.

If you create an account, you agree to provide an email address you control, to keep your credentials private, and to remain responsible for activity that takes place under your account. You may request deletion at any time through the process described on the privacy policy or by writing to mindsurgeenterprise@gmail.com.

Player conduct and chat standards

Verdictris is a game about lying to other players inside the fiction of a trial. Bluffing, misdirection, false accusations, and betrayal are legitimate play. Abusing real people is not, and the distinction is the line these rules draw.

While using Verdictris chat, aliases, usernames, or profile text, you agree not to:

  • direct slurs, hate speech, or harassment at other players, whether in public chat, trial chat, or private conversations;
  • threaten, stalk, or attempt to intimidate another player, in or out of the game;
  • post sexual content involving minors, or sexualize other players;
  • share another person's private information, including real names, addresses, workplaces, or contact details;
  • spam the chat with repeated characters, flooded messages, advertising, or unsolicited links;
  • impersonate MindSurge Enterprise, a moderator, or another identifiable player;
  • exploit bugs, automate play, run scripts or bots against the game, or otherwise manipulate match outcomes and leaderboard standing;
  • attempt to interfere with the service itself, including its servers, accounts, or advertising.

Verdictris applies an automated language filter to aliases, usernames, and chat messages. It rejects a blocklist of slurs and abusive terms, including common obfuscations, and it enforces length and formatting limits. Automated filtering catches ordinary cases; it is not a substitute for these rules, and behavior that clears the filter can still break them.

Conduct problems can be reported to mindsurgeenterprise@gmail.com. Include the approximate time, the match, and what happened.

Content you contribute

Chat messages, aliases, usernames, and profile text you enter remain yours. By entering them you grant MindSurge Enterprise permission to transmit, display, and store that content as needed to run the game โ€” for example, delivering a trial message to the other players in your match.

MindSurge Enterprise may remove content, reject a name, or suspend or terminate access when these conduct rules are broken. Serious or repeated abuse can result in removal without prior notice.

Price, advertising, and in-game items

Verdictris is free to play. There are no purchases, subscriptions, loot boxes, or paid currency in the game, and nothing in Verdictris can be bought, sold, cashed out, or exchanged for money or anything of real-world value.

The game is supported by advertising. Google AdSense display units appear only on this site's public homepage and long-form guide pages; fullscreen Google H5 Games interstitials may appear on a small number of reviewed, user-confirmed transitions between screens. Which surfaces qualify, and how consent and cookies work, is described in full on the privacy policy.

Cash, cryptocurrency, and other real-world value are never offered as a reward for viewing advertising. In-game standing, statistics, and leaderboard position are game state, not property, and carry no monetary value.

Availability and changes to the game

Verdictris is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. MindSurge Enterprise does not promise that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available, and may change, suspend, or discontinue features, matches, servers, or the service as a whole.

Multiplayer depends on network conditions and third-party infrastructure. Disconnections, lost matches, and interrupted sessions are an expected part of an online game and are not compensated.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MindSurge Enterprise is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Verdictris. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

Intellectual property

Verdictris โ€” its name, artwork, written guides, role designs, rules text, and code โ€” is an original work owned by MindSurge Enterprise. You may play the game and link to these pages. You may not copy, republish, resell, or create a competing product from its assets or content without written permission.

Ending access

You may stop playing at any time, and you may delete your account through the process on the privacy policy. MindSurge Enterprise may suspend or end access for a player who breaks these terms, abuses other players, or attempts to manipulate the game or its advertising.
