Verdictris Privacy Policy

Clear rules for local saves, cloud accounts, advertising, and privacy requests.

Verdictris is a multiplayer-capable social-deduction game. This page explains what data the game stores, when third-party services are involved, how advertising cookies may work, and how to send a privacy question or account-deletion request.

Verdictris is intended for teens and adults. The game includes social deception, crime themes, simulated trials, and non-graphic violence.

What Verdictris Stores

Local settings, saved sessions, and notice acknowledgments are stored on the current device or browser.
If you sign in, Verdictris stores your email, profile data, and cloud-backed session/leaderboard data through Supabase so sign-in and sync can work across devices.
Offline play remains available if you do not want cloud-backed account features.

Permissions and Controls

The shipped app manifests do not request contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or precise location permissions.
You can sign out later to stop cloud sync on the current device.
Clearing app or browser storage removes the local Verdictris data stored on that device.

Retention and Deletion

Local data remains until you clear the app or browser storage.
Cloud-backed account data remains until a deletion request is processed, except where limited records must be retained for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Deletion requests may require manual review and are not always instantaneous.

Advertising, Cookies, and Ad Choices

When production advertising is enabled, the substantial public homepage and each reviewed long-form guide may load one manually placed responsive Google AdSense display unit. The browser game may separately request a Google H5 Games fullscreen interstitial only after the player confirms Play Again on a completed case or Leave to Lobby from an elimination report. Supported Android and iPhone/iPad builds may separately load Google AdMob. These services may use cookies, mobile advertising identifiers, local storage, or similar technologies to deliver, secure, measure, frequency-limit, and improve ads.

Google and its advertising partners may process information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Third-party advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technologies based on visits to Verdictris and/or other sites on the internet.

Where available, users may use browser controls, device advertising settings, or industry opt-out tools to limit personalized ads. Some advertising may still be contextual, non-personalized, limited, or required for measurement and fraud prevention.

Verdictris uses a Google-certified consent management platform to request advertising consent from visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Applicable United States privacy messaging will be configured where required. Rejecting personalized advertising will not block access to the homepage, guides, or game; ads may instead be non-personalized, limited, or disabled.

Verdictris does not place display ads on the app itself, including the main menu, privacy, contact, support, account-deletion, loading, error, lobby, active gameplay, trial decision, chat, leaderboard, game-over, and removal screens. H5 interstitials are never triggered merely because game over or elimination appears, and they are excluded from multiplayer, tutorials, timed decisions, and continuous play. Auto ads, anchors, vignettes, sticky units, and auto-refreshing units are not part of the site implementation.

Privacy Questions and Account Deletion

Use the form below to send either a privacy question or a request to delete your Verdictris account and associated cloud-backed data. For signed-in mobile builds, the app also provides an in-app deletion request path.

Account deletion requests should use the same email address tied to your Verdictris account so we can match the request with the correct cloud profile.
